Maxime, can you describe your role at Jagger & Lewis?
I develop iOS and Android mobile applications.
What do you do on a typical workday?
Every day is different, but I usually play around with the link between the collar and the mobile device along with Cyril, discuss with Jérome about data retrieval, and work with Justine on the app’s graphics and UX.
Describe the ambiance at Jagger & Lewis.
Young and dynamic. Everyone communicates really well. We’re in startup mode, so we’re giving it our all to bring the project to life.
Why did you want to work for a startup?
I had a good deal of experience at both large IT service companies and startups and I always preferred the startups because the atmosphere is better. There is a smaller staff, so all of the employees know each other, and that allows you to build better relationships with everyone.
Is being around dogs important to you?
I have always lived with dogs and I have always considered them beings in their own right that share their emotions like people and that need to be taken care of, so the project of a smart collar that monitors a dog’s well-being is particularly close to my heart.
Why is Jagger & Lewis different than other companies?
We are developing a connected object that is really useful for improving understanding between people and their dogs.
What advice would you give people who would like to work at Jagger & Lewis?
If you love dogs, you like the way startups work, and you are passionate about new technologies, you’ll be welcome here!
